Almost 6 years after picking up the guitar, two studio attempts over two years, and two bands later, beginning in the summer of 2014 Scott made an effort to record a few road-tested songs in the Texas circuit. He asked one of his best friends Brian Hunter to record bass on for the record. Tracking songs written a few years previous, and having never tracked in the studio, the experience was truly eye-opening and humbling to say the least.  Taking these little song and transposing them electronically included long time jazz/acoustic favorite “Something” and the “steeped in country”, as a fan remembered it “She’s got her Heart Right (In Georgia)”
